Using our mobile app, browse loops near you based on distance, climb and navigation difficulty.
Then travel to the start check point and try and navigate to each check point on the loop as fast as you can.
At the end of your loop, analyse your route and splits and see how you faired against other local runners.

This is really fun! I get bored of my usual running routes, so loop is a great way to run somewhere different without having to come up with the route yourself.

So fun! The navigation is challenging, but doable. I really liked not knowing where I was going next and I got to see some different parts of my area I never knew were there.

Normally, everything my brother does is a disappointment. This is the exception that proves the rule.
Here, you’ll find your time, pace, total distance, details of your next checkpoint and how many are left to go.
The map
Your map will have all the detail you need to navigate to each check point. Your start point will appear as a triangle and each numbered circle represents a check point.
Navigation controls
Check in to each control. You’ll receive time bonuses for being accurate.
Re-centre the map if you’ve moved around. The map will automatically re-centre after each check in.
Get me there. This will show you the way to the check point but add a time penalty,
About us
Loop was started by two friends, Ed and Chris. By day, Ed keeps some of the UK’s trains running efficiently and Chris has another startup, limber.
In his youth, Chris was a (nearly) elite Orienteer and this is the inspiration behind loop. An Orienteering app designed to help more people enjoy the sport without having to buy all the gear or travel for miles.
If you want to work with us, have some ideas for how we can improve loop or just want to tell us what clever clogs we are (or not), then you can get i touch below.
